On Thursday, Aug. 2, enjoy live music from Separate Ways, a Journey tribute band, plus food and drink specials without paying a cover charge. The group will perform hour-long sets at 7:30 and 9 p.m., and doors open at 6:30. 2. Moscow Country Street Fair
From parades to pre-historic creatures, the Moscow Country Street Fair has something for everyone.
The third annual event will take place Friday, Aug. 3, from 5 p.m. to dusk; Saturday, Aug. 4, from 11 a.m. to dusk; and Sunday, Aug. 5, from noon to 5 p.m. on Van Brunt Street. It will feature vendors, food, beverages, crafts, art and car shows, and live music. Admission is free. The fair will kick off with a parade Friday at 6 p.m. and feature such special events as “Meet the Dinosaurs,” a chance to interact with life-size pretend dinosaurs Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m.; karaoke, Saturday, 7 p.m.; and a car show, Sunday, noon to 4 p.m.

3. Adult Swim Night
Just keep swimming, but maybe stop to enjoy some live music or win prizes.
Adult Swim Night will take place Friday, Aug. 3, from 6 to 11 p.m. at Montage Mountain Resorts, 1000 Montage Mountain Road, Scranton.Stop by for a chance to play games and win prizes — including concert tickets — and hear live entertainment. There is a $10 cover charge, which includes admission to the waterpark. The ZipRider is open until dusk for $10.

In the mood for Bacon? The Bacon Brothers will perform Thursday, Aug. 2, from 8 to 11 p.m. at Sherman Theater, 524 Main St., Stroudsburg. The band features brothers Michael and Kevin Bacon playing a mixture of folk, rock, country and soul music. Their love for music has lead them to more than 20 years of working the road and to the release of eight albums.

5. Festival of Wood
Have fun and maybe even learn a thing or two at the Festival of Wood at Grey Towers National Historic Site, 151 Grey Towers Drive, Milford. The Festival of Wood — a free celebration of the area’s natural heritage and culture of wood — will take place Saturday, Aug. 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hosted by Grey Towers and Pocono Arts Council, the festival will feature demonstrations, live music, refreshments and mansion tours for visitors 12 and older for $5.
