For folks who aren’t familiar with your music, how would you describe your sound?
High energy psychedelic funk.
What can audiences expect to see at a live show?
A unique set packed with powerful vocals, soaring guitars, bouncing bass lines and driving rhythms, all coming together into a sea of funk-fueled jams and psychedelic bliss.
What are you looking forward to most about your Susquehanna Breakdown performance?
We are super excited to get to play at the Pavilion at Montage Mountain, such an amazing venue.
Any special plans for your set?
You’ll have to wait and see…
What are your plans for the rest of 2015 (new album, tour, hot dog eating contest)?
Lots and lots of touring! Summer will be packed with festivals including our own festival, Domefest, taking place May 28 to 30 in Terra Alta, West Virginia. Following festival season, a fall tour will bring us back to all the clubs and theaters throughout the country. We might even have a new album coming.
If you had the opportunity to work with any artist, alive or dead, who would it be?
A collaboration with us, David Byrne and Trey Anastasio. That would be wild.
For fans of: Talking Heads, Phish, Lotus, Disco Biscuits, moe.
