A train ride can be one of the best ways to see the beautiful landscape of the area in a way we might not otherwise have been subject to. On Saturday, the Steamtown National Historic Site offers a different view of the area between Scranton when passengers hop aboard for the Moscow Excursion, which departs at 1 p.m. and returns approximately at 3 p.m. The steam-powered passenger train will take a leisurely trip through some otherwise unseen areas in Lackawanna County, giving passengers some sights they may have never seen before. Cost is $21 for ages 17 and over, $19 for seniors (62 and over) and $15 for children ages 6-16. Children 5 and under are admitted free. Excursion prices also include park admission, so arrive early to check out the museum and other attractions. For more information, visit
