View the work of artist Leigh Pawling.

From ec/dc: No Ordinary Cutlery
By Alicia Grega-Pikul
There’s the utilitarian way to look at it. A knife’s for cutting, a spoon is for scooping and a fork is for pitching the meal into your mouth. Show the same table setting to artist Leigh Pawling and she’s compelled to see the latent beauty of the pieces. The artist introduced a new collection of her kinetic painting and collage works titled Flatware and More at Something Special in Kingston earlier this month. The exhibit will remain on display at the Walnut Street bakery through July 11 and can be viewed during business hours Monday through Friday during from 7:30 to 3:30 p.m. Call 288-8386 for more information or visit http://leighpawling.com.
