Highly acclaimed concert pianist Christopher Johnson was the first prize Winner of both the 1999 Kingsville International Young Performers Competition and the 1999 Isabel Scionti International Piano Solo Competition in Texas. He also performed at the pre-inauguration All-Star Gala at the Lincoln Memorial for President George W. Bush in 2001, an event that was broadcast internationally to millions. And, since his sold-out New York recital debut at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall in 1996, Johnson has performed at recitals, on radio and on TV throughout the U.S, Canada, Central and South America and Europe. On Monday, he’ll be right in our back yard as he performs at the United Methodist Church in Moscow at 7 p.m. as part of the Mondays in Moscow program. A $5 donation is requested.
