If you haven’t been to the Everhart Museum in awhile, you might be overwhelmed with the quantity of intriguing artwork and artifacts on display. One hundred of those treasures have been selected as the subject of a Centennial Scavenger Hunt and though they’re not exactly hidden, they could take some time to find. A new list of objects has been and will continue to be posted on the Web site every month through December. Visitors are encouraged to find as many of them as they can throughout the year and answer questions about them to qualify for prizes. The hunt is suitable for both children and adults and is an ideal tool for preventing that museum brain freeze many of us get upon tuning in to so much stimulation in any finite tour. The museum is open Thursday, Friday and Monday from noon to 4 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Admission is free to members or $5 with discounts for students, seniors and children.
